About us

Instrumentation Center at National Tsing Hua University was established in 1980 and is the first center that was established in Taiwan. The Center was supported by National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and NTHU. For more than 30 years, we have been providing services to all universities, research institutes, and industrial sectors.

Currently, the instruments in center include NMR, MS, EM, X-Ray and a few others. It is intended to provide space, delicate and expensive instruments which cannot be affordable by individual laboratory, faculties and students from universities, research institutes and companies.

With the Center, the instrument resources can be easily concentrated and focused to accomplish the research goals according to their priorities. To minimize or avoid the redundant and unnecessary maintenance expenses on instruments.

Mission: Mainly to support the excellent research areas in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics and Life Science in the National Tsing Hua University but also supports PI’s projects from all area in Taiwan.
